Troop 268 is an organization of and for boys interested in the values and scouting program as provided by the Boys Scouts of America.
At Troop 268 we keep a balance of advancement, services projects, camping, High Adventure and general troop activities all the while striving to have as much fun as possible in an environment that is safe and comfortable for youth and adults alike. Our Troop is led by a tremendous group of Youth Leaders that have a wonderfully diverse group of Adult Advisors backing them up.
We have a long troop history with Valley of Peace Lutheran and will be celebrating 50 years as a Troop in 2013. We camp 9-10 times a year and conduct one High Adventure trek a year to the Philmont Scout Ranch, Florida Sea Base or the Northern Tier High Adventure Base. We expect to continue evolving with an eye on the horizon for more excitement in camping, cool events, providing community service, and helping good boys to become great men for another 50 years!
